The CNIEL – Le Centre National Interprofessional De L’economie Laitiere 

The CNIEL is managed by a Board of Directors and a General Assembly composed of representatives of the four member colleges:  Producers, Dairy Cooperatives, Processors, Commerce, Distribution and Food Service. It is an association Act of 1901 approved by the French Public Authorities under the Dairy Economy Organization Act of July 12, 1974. The French government has recognized the major interest of this organization and supports its action by making it mandatory for all professionals to apply the agreements concluded within the CNIEL (Rural Code L 632-12 to 632-14). CNIEL's resources come from contributions made by producers, processors and distributors. In 2021, the contributions paid amount to 39 million euros.  

Mission 

CNIEL's missions are to carry out actions of common interest aimed at facilitating relations between producers and processors of the dairy sector.

Name of the event: Super Rio Expofood

Objective: Exhibiting at SRE to be in evidence in the market, networking and doing business. Create content to generate brand awareness and increase sales for EU cheese as a gourmet product; improve the knowledge about EU imported cheeses and their merits; explore cheese best features in terms of authenticity, quality, taste, tradition and its benefits for consumers. Strengthen the use of cheeses integrating gourmet cuisine into local culinary culture.

The Tradeshow

Super Rio Expofood Tradeshow brings together professionals from the food sector such as Bars, Restaurants, Bakeries, Hotels, suppliers, distributors and supermarket chains.

The 3rd edition took place on March 21, 22 and 23, 2022, at Riocentro with surprising and historic results! With R$ 500 million converted into business, the event received 56 million visitors in 40 thousand square meters in two pavilions. More than 500 exhibiting brands and more than 60 different brands.

The campaign Prazeres da Europa | Queijos da França exhibited succesfully on 65m² booth at the Trade Show with the following partners (cheese importers): Calimp, Lactalis and Polenghi.

Importers valuable partnership in this event supported the campaign with the offer of products and commercial service. The sales representatives were present at the event every day and at all times receiving visitors and holding meetings. We prepared individual cheese plates of each brand for tasting during the individual meetings, as well as a mix of cheeses of all brands for the general tasting at the booth counter, which was very popular with visitors and generated a lot of interest for the French cheeses.
